WDW - Magic Kingdom Hub Expansion - 19/08/14

     Hey everyone it’s been a while since we last looked at the hub redevelopment at Magic Kindom and since we last talked about it quite a bit has happened. So lets go and take a look and see how it’s coming along!

    If you remember when we last spoke about it in May they were having problems keeping the water away from the construction sight and those problems have continued into July. But worked continued to progress despite the water. (here are some pictures)

WDW - Magic Kingdom - 8/08/14

     Quite a bit has happened at Magic Kingdom in the past few week, nothing major because they did not want to close up more of the park for the 4th but know that the 4th of July is over things should be in full swing. Most of the stuff happening are refurbishment dates released, discontinued services, closers, thing being moved around and etc.

     First of lets talk about refurbishments and closers. Yankee Trader is know closed and will be reimagined into a Haunted Mansion gift shop. The gift shop will offer on-ride photo pickup location and some Haunted Mansion merchandise. The refurbishment will be completed by around September 30, 2014. The on-ride photo opportunity is speculated to be in the hitch-hiking ghosts scene.

WDW - Disney Springs - 20/7/14

     Hey everyone quite a bit has happened at Downtown Disneyland since we last talked about it. Like: new concept art being released, construction updates, new packages, someone opening and closings and more.

     First off lets talk about the concept art since that is one of the most interesting! The first piece depicts an area between the Hangar bar and Boathouse, this area look like it will be turned into a park with a stage and seats for live outdoor entertainment. The second piece looks like an area were the old Comedy Warehouse used to be located. Here is a link to the concept art pieces.

Disney Vacation Club Traveler Absence Explanation

    Hey everyone, so I've not released any information for the past few weeks the reason being I was on vacation with my family and we had REALY bad internet connection so I was not able to post anything and when I got back I had allot of things to do, stuff to put in order and I had to catch up on all I misted so I'm working on a post right know, it's covering Disney Springs, and it should be out tomorrow evening or sometime Sunday morning. I'm sorry for this delay but I will have you up to speed hopefully by end of the weekend or middle next week. Thank you for your support and patience!

WDW - Epcot Update - 1/7/14

Space Ship Earth (Epcot) - May 5, 2013

      It’s been a while since I last talked about Epcot! The reason being not much has happened so I was waiting till their was an off information to write a post about it. Since we last took a look at the park a few things have happened including: some new treats have been added to the menu, some event for the FIFA World Cup have been going on, as well as some refurbishment and maintense work and the Monorail system’s 4th of July weekend schedules has been released.

     Lets start of with some of the new treats that are coming to Epcot! This summer Disney released two new treats that can only be found at Epcot! They booth can be found at Africa Refreshments Cool Post in World Showcase. The first one is a pineapple or coconut frozen yogurt... or you can mix them together. ($3.99 and on the Disney Dinning Plan) and the second being Africa Rum Mango smoothie($9.50). Both of which are perfect for a hot summer day! WDW - Animal Kingdom - Update

Tree of Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom -

     ALLOT has happened and is happing at Animal Kingdom lately. Animal Kingdom has become the center of attention in the past few months and it will continue to as Avatar Land is picking up speed. But as well their are quite a bit of other things happening around the park including: closers, expansion, opening up of the attraction and more.

     June 5th was the last performance of Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade. The parade debuted on September 24, 2001, as part of the 100 Years of Magic celebrations. Along with the normal parade there was a holiday edition. Here are some pictures and a video of the last performance. Disney has not announced any plans to replace the parade with another one. They are planning on adding some nighttime entertainment: Rivers of Light (clip the link to find out more about Rivers of Light) and night time safari.

     Hey everyone allot has happened at Downtown Disney in the past few week: some things have started to open up, more closers, and a lot of updates.

      Let’s start off with the two Starbucks at Downtown Disney! A few weeks back Starbuck, the market place location, opened up! It is a walk-up locations, their is no seating area indoor at all. Like the rest of the Starbucks it offers a while variety of beverages but as well it will offer some Starbucks baked goods. You can view the menu here. It is located right in front of the World of Disney and is directly in front of the waterside stage. Here are some photos of the new locations

WDW - Harambe Nights - 15/06/14

    Harambe Night is in full swing rate know and guest seams to be loving it. So lets go and take a look at what is happening in the village. 

    Let’s start off with the food; so as expected their will be a wide verity of food choices with the festivities. From appetizers to desserts and drinks, to find out more about the menus offered check out this link. With all of the new food venders its no surprise Tusker House will be receiving some rescheduling. So the table service restaurant used to run as following: lunch from 11am to 2:45pm, as well character meals will run during breakfast and lunch. But know breakfast will run from 10:55am,  lunch will run from 11am to 3:30pm and dinner from 4:40pm till the park closes. Except on Saturday during Harambe Nights performance this summer lunch will last to 4:30pm and their will be no dinner options available. 

WDW - Festival of the Lion King - 09/06/14

     Hey everyone Festival of the Lion King has finally opened! It opened about a week and a half ago as well the area around it!

    The new theater has is located in 'Harambe Theater’, which is located just pass Tusker House, the show will be the exact same as it was when it was in Camp Minnie Mickey. As well you can book FastPass+ seating for the show. Show times are on the hour, like they were at Camp Minnie Mickey, the first show of the day begins at 10:00am. WDW - Seven Dwarf’s Mine Coaster - 08/06/14

     Since we last took a look at the Seven Dwarf’s Mine Coaster allot has happened not at the sight but rather online! Disney has released a bunch of promotional videos and even a challenge with some very exciting prizes!

     Let’s start with the proposal videos and commercials! So some of our favorite Disney channel stars decided to go and try out the ride: video 1 and video 2. As well Disney released this video of some of the guest celebrating the opening of the attraction with an acapella version of 'Heigh Ho’, which you can find here. As well here is a diagram showing some of the cool surprise hidden in the Seven Dwarf’s Mine Coaster.

WDW - Avatar Land Update - 05/06/14

     It’s been six months and two days since I made a post about Avatar Land and in that time quite a bit has taken place a specially in the last 2 months. Most of the activity is just leveling the land for construction but James Cameron did offer us some tidbits on what to expect.

     First lets stop in on the construction sight and see how things are coming along. So from December 2013 to March 2014 nothing really happened at the sight beside the closing of camp Minnie and Mickey and maybe a bit of leveling but most of the action took place sometime between April and May of this year. To show you what I mean take a look at these photos WDWMagic upload by Scott Keating of the construction sight. The first photo was taken sometime in May 2014 while the second was taken in April 2014. So as we can see the area has totally been cleared and leveled and it seams like they have all ready started digging foundations and some foundational supplies have arrived! Currently their are 3 construction cranes on site working on the foundations.
