Let’s start with the DVC villas! The exteriors of the villa are pretty much finished; they are just adding some small details and touch-ups here and there. We have no idea on what the insides will looks like but Disney should be reveling some concept art soon. The villas are supposed to open up sometime in 2015. Here are some pictures of what the villas look like.

As well work seams to be moving quite quickly on the lobby! Here are some pictures of the ground flower and second floor.

The entire feature pool area (Nanea Pool), including the pool bar will be close until Spring 2015. They will be adding a hot tub and more deck space to the pool. As well they will be upgrading the resort amenities. Because of the closer of the pool guest will be giving free passes to Blizzard Beach with transportation included. As well the quiet pool is still opened and a temporary pool bar has been opened their. Here are some picture of the pool area.

The name of the resort will be changing to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort do to the transformation of the Polynesian Resort into a Disney Vacation Club Resort Hotel. All of the resort flyers, maps, and pamphlets are know featuring the new resort name and logo. Here is the scan of the new map.

So that’s it for know but be sure to check back with me later to find our more information about the new resort transformation.
