Space Ship Earth (Epcot) - May 5, 2013 |
Quite a bit is happened at Epcot these days between the preparation for bolt the International Food and Wine Festival and the International Flower and Garden Festival, as well as some cellular connection upgrade to the Epcot and much more.
AT&T Upgrade
Less then a year ago AT&T was added to Walt Disney World (and Disneyland) theme parks, know they have have done extensive upgrade. They have deployed more then 350 small cells, 25 DAS systems, and 40 repeaters at the theme parks bolt in Walt Disney World theme park and Disneyland theme parks. As well their are special network solutions installed at: The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studio’s, Disney Animal Kingdom, and Downtown Disney. Epcot International Food and Wine Festival
This year at Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival there are 11 outdoor kitchen kiosks! As well their are some new Dishes being added:
American Adventure: ‘The Smokehouse: Barbecue and Brew’
1) ‘Piggylicious’ - bacon cupcake with maple frosting and pretzel crunch
2) Eggplant ‘scallops with romesco sauce and spaghetti squash (for the new Urban Farm Easts kiosk)
Here is a link to some pictures of the new dishes. As well the International Food and Wine Festival has been move a week earlier them normal and will be extended, from September 19 through to November 10, 2014.
Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival
Similar to the kiosks at the International Food and Wine Festival they will give you the chance to try small portions of food and drinks at around $5 per dish. Here is a link to the menu description.

"Science Thrills Live" Show
“Science Thrill Live” is a show that is being brat to guest by Raytheon, it will be hosted at Epcot Innovation West. Here guest will be able to experience the 20 min show that will take place from Feb. 17 to Feb 21 2014 at 11am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm. At the show the guests will be able to designs and experience their own thrill ride. Raytheon employees will be a round to help guest. They will share their hands on experience and love for engineering.
Frozen Meet and Greet’s Extended
The Frozen meet and greet which features princess Anna and queen Elsa was supposed to be closed mid February but do to popularity will being extended! Their is no closing date released as of yet. It will run from 9am to 6pm daily at the Norwegian Pavilion.
Ziti Sister Show Closing
The Ziti Sister show at the Italian pavilion is closing, their last show will be February 22, 2014. Their is no information as of yet if anything will replace the show.
Candy Artist ‘Miyuki’ No Longer Appeirs
At the Japanese pavilion the candy artist Miyuki carved interact designed animals out of molten candy rate in front of the guests eyes. She will no longer be preforming at Epcot, her last show was in late 2013. This show will be greatly mist for it was very popular with the guests. The ‘Matsuriza’ drummers will still be preforming.
