WDW - DVC Villas at Disney's Polynesian Resort - 6/5/14

Quite a bit has happened at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, the DVC villas at the Polynesian resort art really starting to take shape, as well designs for a new lobby have been reveled and some information about the resort receiving a name change!

All except one of the villas have been outfitted with a plywood roof and three of them have their final roves on. Here is a picture of what they look like know. As you can see in the first picture, the once showing the villas, the final roof is a gray color which will most likely be painted over with the brownish color that the rest of the resort has. As well most of them have a few of their walls boarded up and the work is underway on the platform of the remaining unit.

As well the resort will be returning to it’s original name, ‘Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort’. Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto which is based off of the popular lounge at Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim California will be opening sometime 2015. As well they have released some concept art for the new lobby. Here is a link to the concept art that Disney just released.

So that’s it for know but be sure to check back with me later for more information about the Polynesian expansion and about Disney parks.
