Hey everyone! At Shanghai Disneyland they have just celebrate two big milestone! One being the completion of the top of one of their themed resort hotels and the other being the beginning of construction on a mountain at the park it's self.
They have just finish laying the concrete on the top of Shanghai Disneyland's first of two themed resort hotel! They had a concrete laying ceremony were the Shanghai Disneyland park leader laid the last block of concrete. This resort hotel has 800 rooms with 7 floors and will provide gorgeous view of Shanghai Disneyland, the retail, dining and entertainment district, and the resorts central lake.
As well the first vertical steel beam has been put into place and it makes the beginning of the upward construction on the mountain. This mountain will be the second tallest at the Magic Kingdom style park. Second only to Enchanted Storybook Castle. Disney promises that the mountain will be spectacular and with Disney's long legacy of outstanding immersive themed jungles, mountains, forests and more, it is no surprise that this mountain will be no different and it will definitely earn it's spot on the list of Disney mountains.
Shanghai Disneyland Resort is still scheduled to be opening late 2015. On opening day the resort will feature: Shanghai Disneyland, 2 themed resort hotels, a 46,000 square meter retail, dining, entrainment venues, recreational facilities, a lake, as well as parking and transportation hubs.
